The Billboard is DONE

We finally got the rest of the boards up this past Wed. I wanted to do it Tuesday, but it was too windy. Trying to lift a 10' long piece of plywood up into the air on a windy day is not a good thing. So I dragged the wife out of bed at 6:30am when it was calm, and we got to it. It finished up pretty good. Trying to stretch the Branding Iron vinyl sign back on was interesting. It is a little crooked, but you don't really notice it from the highway zipping along.

I took today off - sort of. I decided this morning to go for a short motorcycle ride up into Arches Park and take a hike. So I stopped at City Market and got me a donut and headed out. I was going to hike out to Landscape arch, but the tourists were in full force. People everywhere. So I went back and hiked out to Broken Arch. It was a nice little hike. I had the place to my self for a bit. There was a big rock and below the arch and I stretched out and about went to sleep.

But finally back to life on the farm. I changed the oil on the diesel truck today. It takes 12 quarts of oil. I learned you have to have two oil pans down below to catch everything. The first time I changed oil in this truck, I pulled the oil plug and the oil came streaming out and quickly filled up the catch pan and just kept coming. I had oil everwhere. This time went better.

And I got a cold. Wonder if I got it at Rindy's wedding. I wonder how the love birds are doing? They are 13 hours ahead of us in time. As we go to bed, they are getting up, and as they settle in for the night, we are just getting up.
