Silly Fish
We have all sorts of critters on the farm, some that even live in a fish tank in the house. And even those critters manage to get into trouble at times. I have this big stripped fish. He tries to eat the other fishes. But the goldfish are too big now and they even pick on him at times. Any ways, this big stipped fish decides to see if he can squeeze through the windows of a sunken boat that is in the aquarium. He got 2/3rds of the way through and got STUCK. Totally stuck in this boat. It took me ten minutes of push and prying to get him out. His fins were like barbs, they flattened to get him in, but sprung out to prevent him from backing up. He also wiped out his right eye on something struggling. But he is out and still alive to my amazement. But he now just swims in circles to the left where he can see.

ReplyDeleteHaha that is great! How funny! I almost feel sorry for it... wait, nope. Isn't this the same fish that jumped out once?
ReplyDeleteYea this is the one that jumped out and the wife had to rescue and this is the one that ate all the small fish. I was tempted to leave it stuck. I thought for a bit I would have to break the boat to get it free.
ReplyDeleteThe poor fish didn't make it. I thought he was ok after this incident, but he wasn't. Each day he got worse and worse. I buried him this morning.
