Utah State law says that every year you must take your bull to the Vet and have it tested for some disease even though the chance of your bull catching that disease is somewhere between zero and none. So gather up the critters we did. It was also time though, to put in the fly tags. So we did that. And we had a new ranch hand to help out. Plus one little critter had to have a minor operation. Something we forgot to do when we branded. On top of all that - two of our three hay fields were cut and bailed and had to be picked up. Good time was had by all.
Bright orange fly tags were put in both ears. The cows look real cute out in the field now.
We wont say what evil things we did to this MALE calf.

So Jenn had fun on the farm huh! Give her another round of hay hauling and she might change her mind! Glad you had help though.
